TRUTH & RECONCILIATION
REGINA EXHIBITION ASSOCIATION LIMITED - HOCKEY IS FOR EVERYONE
Agency: Phoenix Group (2019)
This was a video project I wrote and produced for the 2019 Heritage Classic in Regina, in collaboration with Crushed Rockets as the production company. The goal was to address the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s Calls to Action related to sport, specifically focusing on hockey’s role in reconciliation. We structured the video as a progression — from the struggles of the past, including discrimination faced by Indigenous players, to an inspiring future where hockey is truly for everyone. Featuring interviews with Indigenous hockey players at different stages of their careers, including trailblazers and young hopefuls, the piece blended storytelling with powerful imagery to spark reflection and push for change.
SASKATCHEWAN ROUGHRIDERS - WALKING FORWARD TOGETHER
Agency: Phoenix Group (2021)
In June 2021, Canada stood still as Cowessess First Nation announced the discovery of hundreds of unmarked graves at the former Marieval Indian Residential School. In an act of truth and reconciliation, staff and current and former CFL players from the Saskatchewan Roughriders visited the site to connect with Cowessess Nation members and acknowledge this painful history. I concepted and directed the video, conducting an interview with Chief Cadmus Delorme to ensure the story was told with honesty and respect. Shared on the jumbotron at Mosaic Stadium before a Roughriders game, the video became a powerful moment of reflection, remembrance, and commitment to reconciliation.

Freelance (2021)
I concepted, creative directed and paper edited a series of three long-form videos showcasing the stories of three Saskatchewan Roughrider players and their unique stories in relation to Indigenous heritages and cultures. These videos were created as a direct response to the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s Call to Action #87.
